I drew this Barn owl to honor a medicine I have felt very close to and have worked with for many years. Owl medicine is oftentimes feared and owls have at times been looked at as an omen of death or witchcraft. For me personally, owl represents the ability to “hear and see” what’s hiding in the darkness. Messengers of wisdom and intuition, they are linked to the gifts of clairvoyance and clairaudience and being able to see what others cannot. To “see” in darkness.
